I have a suggestion about the cooldown for gapples (Super golden apples). I think that 8 min cooldown is a bit long. I think gapples should be a part of the pvp as it has been most of time in SC's history. I agree gapples should have a cooldown as without this cooldown gives the "rich" people a waay too BIG advantage in pvp and causes "less rich" people to be unable to win any fights and mby lose the enjoyments of SC. But I think if we have too high cooldown for gapples, it would make "rich" people, that might've spent more time on SC to gain their position in the sever and earner all this money, lose these enjoyments of being "rich". So my point is that "rich" people, who really use a lot of time should be awarded of having this advantage of being rich by having money to gapples. For my own part, I would have fun with NO cooldown at all as I find this both a challange to fight people with gapples and an advtages of gapples myself.
You might think; -Rich people can still buy a lot of gapples, the price of gapples isnt changed, just the cooldown.
- It wouldnt be the same. It wouldnt make a different if a guy with 64 gapples that spent 50 hours to earn them fought a guy with like 2 gapples that spent mby 1 hour to earn them. But if the gapples has less cooldown, rich people would atleast have an advantage. By lessen this cooldown would make gapples used more often and would give rich people a advantage.
Exemple: The faction "Rich" fight the faction "poor" in a 5v5. The faction "rich" has spent 50 hours to earn money and has an avarage balance that gives them 20 gapples. The faction "poor" have spent 20 hours and has an avarage balance that gives them only 5 gapples. These types of faction pvp can last more than 10 min mby. If the cooldown for gapples was 8 min (as it is now), I dont find the faction "rich" in a advantage of having all this money as noone in this fight would be able to use nothing more than 1 gapple in a fight of 10 min. (depending on when u eat the first gapple ofc). But if the cooldown for gapples was set down to like 3 min, the faction "rich" would have a advantage of being able to eat 3 gapples (mby 4) within a fight of 10 min and the faction "poor" would only be able to eat 1 gapple as they dont have more gapples. This would give the faction "rich" an advantage, not that big advantage, but an advatage that they've earner by spending these 50 hours to get money,
But of course! It doesnt matter how many gapples you have and the cooldown, it all depends on your and your facs individual skills ;)
So here's my suggestion of how long the cooldown might be, that would still give "rich" people an advtage and even donors an advantge.
My suggestion is seperated into 3 different parts:
1) Cooldown for gapples is 4 min and each donor rank gives 30 sec less cooldown.
That would be:
Unranked -> 4 min.
Vip -> 3 min & 30 sec.
vip+ -> 3 min.
Premium -> 2 min & 30 sec.
Premium+ -> 2 min.
2) Cooldown for gapples is 3 min and each donor rank gives 15 sec less cooldown.
That would be:
Unranked -> 3 min.
Vip -> 2 min & 45 sec.
Vip+ -> 2 min & 30 sec.
Premium -> 2 min & 15 sec.
Premium+ -> 2 min.
3) Cooldown for gapples is between 2-3 min and donor rank doesnt give u less cooldown advantage.
